Meet Roshonda Jones—a woman of vision, discipline, and undeniable drive.

It is with great enthusiasm that we at the MMOB Shop share her story.

Roshonda and her husband of 30 years have built a strong and beautiful legacy, raising four children and now embracing the joy of three grandchildren, including a set of twins. In her early years, while balancing marriage and supporting her husband’s military career, Roshonda also pursued higher education—earning both a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems—all while raising a growing family.

After completing her degrees, Roshonda worked in software development for the state of North Carolina, contributing to systems used by the child welfare department—some of which are still in use today.

But her growth didn’t stop there.

During the pandemic, she shifted her focus to natural wellness, determined to empower herself and other like-minded women to take care of their families through holistic healing. That passion birthed her business, Naturally My Sister’s Keeper—a product line that has grown from herbal teas and natural supplements to remedy-based topicals, including natural pain relievers that support internal and external healing.

And she didn’t stop there either.

Roshonda is also a Notary Public, Certified Loan Signing Agent, and Notary Instructor, continuing to expand her skillset and empower others through her work at www.facebook.com/asapnotaryteam.

Meet Roshonda Jones

Meet Nathaniel!

It’s with great delight that we at the MMOB Shop share Nathaniel’s story.

Nate is a young man who truly believes in the value of friendship, hard work, and self-improvement.

In 2020, when the stay-at-home order was issued due to COVID-19, Nathaniel and his siblings transitioned to online academic learning. Like many young people, Nate faced the challenges of remote schooling and became a little discouraged. Missing the daily energy of social interaction, his grades began to slip.

Even when in-person classes resumed, Nathaniel and his siblings stayed committed to completing their courses online for personal reasons. It wasn't an easy road, but Nate stayed the course. Now, as an 8th grader, Nathaniel is back on campus—and he’s thriving!

Never having played organized sports before, his natural athleticism and determination earned him a starting spot on his school's soccer team. Academically, he’s excelling too, proudly maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

And that's not all—Nate still makes time to work at Fly Cuts and Styles barbershop and is actively learning about the stock market.

Nathaniel is a shining example of what it means to mind your own business: focusing on growth, staying committed to the bigger picture, and building a life grounded in purpose and discipline.

We’re proud to celebrate his journey and can’t wait to see where his drive, faith, and hard work will take him next.

Meet Nathaniel

Meet Ella Lewis—one of the many inspirations behind the MMOB movement.

It’s with great honor that we at the MMOB Shop share Ella’s story as a source of strength, hope, and resilience.

In the 1980s and ’90s, Mrs. Ella was lost in a battle with substance abuse—one she fought alongside her husband. The grip of crack cocaine nearly consumed their lives. But through faith, fight, and determination, they broke free and reclaimed their peace.

Shortly after getting clean, Ella faced another heartbreaking trial: the loss of her 15-year-old daughter to Lupus. And still, she pressed forward—committed to her sobriety and her healing.

Today, Mrs. Ella continues to walk in strength. She is a dedicated mother, caring full-time for her son with special needs. She is also a breast cancer survivor, and she is thriving in the mighty name of Jesus.

Her life is a living testimony that transformation is possible—and that when you do the work to mind your own business, you make room for healing, purpose, and divine growth.

Meet Ella Lewis

Meet Mr. Morton “Rick” Spears, a proud Chicago native whose life journey continues to inspire all who cross his path.

At 70 years young, Rick is a living example of health, strength, and vitality. Deeply committed to serving others and giving back, Rick began his journey by pursuing higher education, earning his bachelor’s degree in education in 1980.

After spending time in the classroom, Rick redirected his passion into a new field—landing a position at the internationally known Chicago O’Hare Airport, where he built a successful career and retired as a Fueling Supervisor.

But Rick’s dedication to purpose didn’t stop there.

After retirement, he relocated to Sacramento, where he continued to live out his calling. At the age of 36, Rick joined the Sacramento County System Fire Department, embarking on yet another meaningful chapter—this time in public safety.

He worked tirelessly providing fire protection, EMT services, and other life-saving emergency response efforts, serving the community with heart and humility until his second retirement at the age of 56.

Today, Rick is living a comfortable, fulfilled life, proving that when you mind your own business, stay focused on your purpose, and move with intention—peace will follow.
